Prague

During our spring 2018 trip to Prague, Czech Republic, I went with the spouses of the Cytometrist Scientists and toured the city as well as the Terezin Concentration Camp which is nearby.

Overview

It was easy to get around the city owing to their tram and subway system. However, I did a lot of walking every day and saw some sites that I may have not seen otherwise.

The Most Beautiful City

The capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague, is a marvel of architecture and culture. Called the “City of a Hundred Spires” and “Mother of All Cities”, Prague has so much to offer its many visitors. In the local language, Czech, it is named “Praha” – meaning “Rapids” (as in a river). In a city where old Bohemia meets the modern world, beauty is never lacking.
