During our 2018-2019 trip to New Zealand, we lived in Wellington for four months and toured the country for two weeks.
Overview
We lived in Wellington in an apartment with views of the bay, the harbor and Mount Victoria. We loved the city and did not need a car as everything we needed was within walking distance. We took long weekends during that time to visit three other beautiful areas of the country and took two weeks after our stay in Wellington to tour the South Island. We were thankful to Kylie Price and the Malagan Institute for hosting Paul on a sabbatical. I am thankful for the new friends that I met in Wellington.
Features

New Zealand Photography
New Zealand is by far the most beautiful country I have ever visited. From blue seas, lakes and rivers to jagged peaks and glaciers to vast swaths of land covered with rolling vineyards. (The wine wasn't bad either). But the wildlife, especially the birds, were a highlight of the trip. My favorite bird was the tui which is colorful, friendly and can actually mimic other birds. You can see many of the birds in the photos that I have taken in the New Zealand slide show.
